This relaxing and inspiring tour is conveniently launched just
10 minutes from the Cape Town CBD. You can even schedule it for
after work if you are entertaining guests from out of town but
still have to spend a day at the office. The two-hour version
of this trip takes you around the coast and affords spectacular
views of Lions Head and Table Mountain.
Keep an eye open for seals, penguins and even Heaviside
dolphins – any of these fine swimmers may choose to race beside
you, diving and playing right alongside your craft.
Two good options to consider are the sunset and the sunrise
timeframes for this trip.
If you have a day to yourself, why not kayak to Clifton and
Camps Bay at sunrise (this is a 4 hour trip) and spend some
hours on the beach – just think – no traffic jams or parking
problems even in the height of summer season chaos!
A third option is the romantic full moon paddle where you
watch the sun setting on one side of you as the moon rises on
the other.
