more. From July to December False Bay comes alive with
the annual visit of the Southern Right whales. At up to
18 metres in length and weighing nearly 50 tonnes, these
magnificent, gentle giants of the sea were nearly hunted
to extinction. Fortunately worldwide legislation now
protects them and the numbers are rising annually. |
