The elegant Cape Colony restaurant at the Mount Nelson
Hotel combines fine dining with impeccable service amid an
elegant interior, with live music each evening. The menu
features contemporary South African cuisine with an exotic Asian
influence, while the wine list was recently awarded the Diners
Club Award of Excellence. Open 18:30 - 22:30 daily.
Menu items salmon gravad lax with langoustine, apple and fine
bean salad, steamed cape rock lobster and sautéed scampi with
lime fennel emulsion and caviar dumplings, balsamic glazed
ostrich fillet with springbok and pancetta satays and devilled
sauce, prawn and chicken curry served with homemade roti and
jasmine rice, mushroom dim sum on pea wasabi sauce with sun
blushed tomato fondue.
